Project Background
Through its Guangzhou Baoxuan factory, SR MFG supports the large-scale production of barbecue grills for a leading Canadian grill and fireplace brand.
The project covers multiple carbon steel grill models, as well as selected stainless steel products and components. Guangzhou Baoxuan is responsible for manufacturing the main structural parts, completing assembly, preparing the products for export, and supporting continuous high-volume orders.
In the previous year, the factory shipped more than 150,000 complete barbecue grill units for the North American market.
Project Requirements
The project involves multiple grill models and configurations. Each product contains a large number of formed panels, structural components, doors, drawers, brackets, and internal parts.
The main production requirements include:
- Consistent dimensions across high-volume production
- Stable fit between lids, bodies, cabinets, doors, and drawers
- Uniform appearance across powder-coated, enamel-coated, and brushed stainless steel parts
- Coordinated production of multiple grill models
- Complete assembly and export packaging
- Continuous production capacity for repeat orders
SR MFG’s Manufacturing Scope
Guangzhou Baoxuan provides manufacturing support from individual components to complete packaged grills.
The main products include:
- Grill lids and main bodies
- Fireboxes
- Bottom cabinets
- Side panels and door panels
- Control panels
- Drawers and trays
- Drip pans and oil trays
- Mounting brackets
- Internal structural components
- Selected stainless steel grill parts
The production scope includes sheet metal fabrication, surface finishing, component assembly, complete grill assembly, packaging, palletizing, and export preparation.
High-Volume Production Support
The project is based on continuous, large-volume orders rather than one-time prototype production.
Guangzhou Baoxuan manages multiple grill models within the same production program while maintaining consistent assembly, appearance, and packaging requirements. The factory can deliver products at different stages, including individual parts, finished components, sub-assemblies, semi-finished grills, and complete packaged products.
For this project, the main delivery format is fully assembled barbecue grills prepared for export shipment.
Packaging and Delivery
Completed grills are packed using export pallets, cardboard frames, corner protectors, stretch film, and strapping.
The packaging protects the products during ocean freight, warehouse handling, and inland transportation before they reach the North American market.
